Care for wool carpets (Beni Ourain, Beni Mrirt, Azial): The carpets can be vacuumed without rotating or knocking brushes. We recommend occasionally beating or shaking the carpet, this effectively removes dust and dirt and the carpet looks wonderfully fresh again.

Zanafi kilims are flat-woven carpets made of virgin wool. The Zanafis often have fine, geometrically woven patterns. The beautiful unique pieces are most often found in blue/white, black/white or beige/white. Hand-processed virgin wool, dyed and undyed, is always used. In Morocco, kilims were particularly popular as wall hangings but also as very easy-care and uncomplicated carpets for the floor. Our handmade kilims mostly come from the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding region, such as Boujaad, and are still made within Berber families or in small cooperatives.
