Beni Ourain

Incredibly soft, natural and wonderfully timeless, this is the Beni Ourain carpet from the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The extraordinary carpets made of pure new wool are still made traditionally within the Berber families. Only here can you find the unique quality of the original Beni Ourain.

Beni Mrirt

Beni Mrirt Berber carpets come from the Mrirt-Khenifra region. The Berber carpet, similar to the Beni Ourain, is knotted with very high-quality wool and is still traditionally made in small cooperatives. The Beni Mrirt have their very own and differentiated character, so the weaving of this carpet is different from the classic Beni Ourain.

The craft of weaving, especially that of Kilim carpets, is still widespread throughout Morocco. Their appearance, patterns and colors vary depending on the region and Berber tribe. The popular carpets are flat-woven and often feature fine patterns. Hand-processed virgin wool, dyed and undyed, is almost always used.

Azilal

Azilal carpets come from the Azilal (Tadla-Azilal) region in the High Atlas of Morocco. The carpets embody the wonderfully colorful side of Morocco, the colorful traditions and customs of the Berbers. The weaving of Azilal carpets consists of a simple knot and a typical, short pile.

A small family business from the north of Morocco has made it its mission to produce particularly high-quality and durable basket bags. Our basket bag is also a timeless classic, you may also know it as a straw bag or raffia bag. In fact, our basket bags are still artfully made by hand from dried palm leaves.

The pure handwork is of immense importance in the traditional production of Berber carpets, as it gives every knot the precision and care that makes each individual piece unique.
