Care Instructions
Wool Rugs (Beni Ourain, Beni Mrirt, Azilal)
Wool rugs can be vacuumed using a nozzle without rotating or beater brushes. We recommend occasionally shaking or beating out the rug by hand to remove dust and refresh the pile naturally.
We also suggest placing a standard anti-slip mat underneath all rugs. A detailed care guide will be sent to you after purchase.

Flatwoven Rugs (Kelim, Zanafi)
Flatwoven rugs can also be vacuumed gently, preferably without rotating or beating brushes.
However, a standard floor brush may be used if needed.
Shaking or dusting the rug from time to time helps keep it clean and vibrant.
Basket Bags
Basket bags can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
If the bag becomes misshapen, it can be gently reshaped by moistening it more thoroughly. Leather handles may be treated with a classic leather conditioner if desired.
Wood Products
Handcrafted wooden items can be wiped clean with a damp cloth using water or a mild cleaner. To maintain the finish, treat the wood occasionally with standard wood oil or olive oil.

Mimuna – A Classic Berber Rug
The Mimuna rug is a classic Berber design featuring abstract diamonds. Its timeless yet slightly playful character brings clarity, structure, and harmony to any space. The soft wool of the original Berber rugs adds extra coziness and warmth to the room.
Production:
Our Beni Ourain Berber rugs are traditionally handcrafted within Berber families. The production process uses soft virgin wool from highland and pasture sheep, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces made in the most authentic way. Since each rug is individually crafted, there may be slight variations in the pattern.
- 100% sheep wool (virgin wool).
- Production time: Depending on size, approx. 3-5 months or upon agreement.
- Fair production in direct collaboration with Berber families.
- Premium quality through traditional, time-intensive craftsmanship in the region of origin.
- Unique piece: Handmade by Berber women at home, from the original Beni Ourain region.
